Dr Hampus Holmer is special advisor on global health at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and postdoc at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. A medical doctor with a PhD in global health, Hampus is interested in the intersection of global public health, politics, economics and diplomacy. He serves on the strategy committee of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and is vice president of the Swedish Association of Social Medicine and Public Health.
