Dr. Roman Vega is a physician, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Colombia. Magister in Health Administration and Social Security from the Javeriana University. PhD in Administration and Health Policies at The Hull University (England). Professor at the Javeriana University in the Master of Public Health and in the Interdisciplinary PhD of Social and Human Sciences. Recognized as Emeritus and Lifetime Researcher by the Colombian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. Former Secretary of Health of the city of Bogotá, and current Global Coordinator of the People's Health Movement (PHM).
